Heo Young Saeng Stick to His Promise :)

Even though he is injured and is on cast, he still stick to his promise record "RUNNING MAN".

On 25 Apr, Heo Young Saeng participated in <> "RUNNING MAN" recording at Seoul SBS Lobby. On 19 Apr, he accidentally injured the back of his hand while practicing for his dance which caused the release of his album to be delayed, insisted to keep his recording appointment for "RUNNING MAN".


His company B2M stated "The doctor did warn him to wait for his hand to be fully recovered and to restraint from outside activities." But because he want to keep to his promise for the agreed schedule as before thus he proceeded with the recording. Thus the production team and the artistes gave Young Saeng very high evaluation for coming to record with his bandaged cast on.


Heo Young Saeng's raid gave a reversal effect. Him in a bandaged cast making all the artistes panic. Even though injured, he still do not bother to hide himself and still struggled alone making Young Saeng shone brightly.

Heo Young Saeng initially is going to start his solo activities on the 28 Apr. But due to the state of his injuries, there is no choice but to delay his activities. Fortunately, his recovery is fast thus they have schedule him to do his comeback at around mid May, and to re-adjust his schedule.

Heo Young Saeng solo album songs will be produced by Han Jae Ho & Kim Sung Su who have produced Kara's Lupin, Honey & Mister, and also the strong friendship which was forged during SS501 days with Steven Lee who has produced the dance song "LET IT GO" which will be the main hit song for the album.

Heo Young Saeng's "RUNNING MAN" will be broadcast on 8 May.

KID WHO WENT TO PLAY AT TV STATION



Heo Young Saeng in actual fact isnt an introvert and quiet child. Although his relationship with his school mates are good, but due to that he is a single child thus he doesnt talk much at home.



“I am a Christian, thus there are bound to have some influence with regards to Young Saeng’s name. During his childhood, Young Saeng love singing. It was around 4 years old, when he was taking his school bus on his home, during the journey while listening to the radio station which was playing Park Nam Jung (slam10: I dont know whether my translation for the name is correct. sorry if it is wrong) song, Young Saeng sang and dance at the same time. After we got home, I find that he is better than I thought so sometimes we will go to norabang (Karaoke) to practise, of course we did not let his mum knows about it.



As long as he is following his variety show scripwriter father to the TV station during those days, he doesnt feel like going to other places. He even consolidated the different artistes’ signature which he got into a book eg Shin Seung Hun & Kangta. Maybe it is due to that, Heo Young Saeng naturally love music and also his similiarities towards Shin Seung Hun.



A FATHER WHO IS LIKE A FRIEND, A SON WHO IS LIKE BROTHER



Heo Nam Su gave birth to Young Saeng when he was 23 years old. As he who lost his mother at young grew up lonely told himself that he will treat his children well if he has any in the future. So although he is a father at quite a young age, but he is very proud to say that he is a father who is like a friend.



“Ever since Young Saeng went to high school, he became more mature and recently he is like a big brother. Sometimes he will talk back at me. “Dad, please don't be angry, cool down before saying anything…”



Young Saeng had his own crossroads times where he doesn’t want to study during his high school but to no avail. He was stuck in the middle where his mum wants him to study medial in the university but his dad wants him to do stuff which he likes thus Young Saeng was very confused.



In the end, due to the distance between his school and the training room, Young Saeng chose to live alone. Because of personal reasons, Heo Nam Su couldn't live with his son.



Heo Young Saeng received very tough training and also at the same time went thru a period of puberty. People laughed at him saying that “You will never ever succeed”, he proved them wrong. When SS501 got their 1st award at 2005 M.net KM Music Festival: Best New Male Group Award, he cried loudly. He knew better than anyone what his son was going thru, all the difficulties, thus he was very heart pain and can only use tears to console each other.



“He called me 1st, hopeful and wanting to get my acknowledgment. Although our conversation did not last very long, the images and the feeling during that time is still very vivid till now.









ENTANGLEMENT, DO NOT REALLY TALK



“I am very apologetic towards Young Saeng. When he was young, we moved house many times, when he was in grade 5, he cant adapt to moving from Incheon to Chuncheon. One day, there was a huge reaction to his talent performance in school, maybe it was during that time, he decided that his dream was to become a singer.



Even though he did not really object to his son’s dream, but he did hope that his son can go to university, after graduating, go to a good company to work and live his live peacefully and ordinarily. But he did not stubbornly stop his son, Heo Nam Su keep his hope of wishing his son to give up his dreams in his heart and went to find an old friend who is a music producer.



“Even though that he is stubborn saying he does what he says, but still I totally support and agree thus he start his training in SM entertainment. But if he continue to stay there, probably, he will debut with Super Junior as their members. But DSP wants to groom him and debut him as member of SS501 and he did that.” Thus his route is easier than other trainees. Even though having fame, Young Saeng still feel lonely.



“For a person who cooked ramen to eat, I am not sure whether I will be shocked or surprise. Our Young Saeng is not a person who get sad easily. But also hard to tell regarding the sad stuff which he went thru went he was in his teens, plus during that time his heart was very fragile….”

Heo Young Saeng wants to be discharged from the hospital

SS501's main vocalist Heo Young Saeng was hospitalized due to hand injuries. His solo album and future activities was expected to be delayed by 2 weeks.

On April 19th, Heo Young Saeng was in the middle of rehearsing the choreography for his title track when he injured his hand. He was immediately rushed to the hospital nearby to cure his injury. After diagnosis, it was known that the fracture of the back of his hands and tore ligaments will take about 4 to 5 weeks to recover. His upcoming album and future activities need to be postponed

Regarding about Heo Young Saeng's condition, Morning of 21st of April, SSTV said " Due to Heo Young Saeng strong commitment, he wants to pursue his scheduled activities and keep his promise even if he hasn't fully recovered from his injuries." . A representative from B2M stated "We were in the midst of discussion with the hospital representative so they could discharge him"

"Even though the hospital hasn't give its reply, his future scheduled activities will be postponed approximately for 2 weeks. We will discuss a draft plan for his future activities tonight" B2M representative added.

Group SS501′s lead vocalist Heo Youngsaeng has been admitted into the hospital because of a hand fracture.

Heo Youngsaeng’s first solo album was slated for release on this upcoming 28th, and while he was practising his title track’s choreography on the 19th in the dance room, he suddenly injured the back of his hands and was admitted into the hospital soon after.

After diagnosis, it was known that it’d take about 4~5 weeks for his hand fracture and rusture of ligaments to recover.

We’re here to deliver a piece of sad news to all fans who have been eagerly awaiting for Heo Youngsaeng-gun’s release of his first mini album and his solo activities.

While practising for his choreography, Youngsaeng-gun had hurt his hands, and until he recovers from that, all of his schedules and album have decided to be postponed.

All of you guys have been eagerly awaiting for him, and for the fact that we have decided for a delay is because Youngsaeng-gun’s health is of utmost priority more than anything.

After diagnosis, it was known that the fracture of the back of his hands and rusture of ligaments will take about 4~5weeks to recover. For that, he is currently receiving treatment. Apart from Youngsaeng-gun’s hands, there aren’t any other health issues that he’s facing for now.

SS501's Heo Young Saeng will finally be following in the footsteps of his bandmates by going solo!

His agency, B2M Entertainment, revealed, "Heo Young Saeng will be working with Sweetunes, the composing team behind the majority of KARA's hit tracks. He won't be going for a ballad, but will present a strong dance track instead."

As the main vocalist of SS501, Heo Young Saeng already had his vocal talent recognized by the masses. Consequently, fans expected him to come out with a sultry ballad that displayed more of his talent. Young Saeng, however, is more determined than ever to show a new side of himself through his title track, "Let It Go."

With three out of the five SS501 members promoting in the industry, and Kim Hyun Joong preparing for his solo as well, fans can expect a busy year from the members. Kim Kyu Jong will also be transitioning into acting, and is currently taking acting lessons.

This is the past sad story of Young Saeng which was cut out in Strong Heart.

When I was still a trainee, at 18 years old. It was just my adolescent period.
Everyday was between home and the practice studio.... It was so that I don't even have time to play with my friends...
It was my first time to Seoul... so it was the time when I needed to make friends but I had no time to get closer to them.
And so one day I went into the rebellious period.
There's one day I didn't go to school. When the company found out about that, they would sack me. (Note: I think these companies want their trainees to continue their studies, so they have to continue to go to classes otherwise they don’t get to train in their company.)


But frankly speaking, my thoughts at that point of time is I came all alone to Seoul to be a singer, however in my current state, will I still able to be a singer?
So for the 1st time, I was in a state to give up everything. And my mother was living in the other province too. If only she was doing any better.. well, I really don't want to put out my hand (to ask for money).
The money for lodging... High school fees? Because it costs a lot originally...
Mainly that I didn’t have time to eat. So I thought of just starving for a day, and I lived through then.
I slept a lot in a day. So that I don't have to eat... slept a lot... I bought one cheapest instant noodle and poured this~~much water... shared with my friend, the two of us...
It was really serious. Why do I have to live like this.. It was really difficult.
I felt very sorry towards my mum, I am very sorry to be going down again.. Therefore, I couldn't say anything. Words like ‘I am tired'...


When I was chatting with a friend...
Coincidentally we were talking about Han River. Things like falling into Han River (commit suicide I guess)... A lot of such stuffs were published on news..
So when my friend and I were talking about Han River, we have the thought of wanting to jump naturally when we see Han River.
And so just in our casual chatting.. I told my friend.
“Ya, let’s go out.” “To where?” “Han River.”
Just like that. No, well, I just wanted to see Han River for once.


However we were not familiar in Seoul. We didn’t know the bridges, the large bridges nor do we know where Han River is. Therefore, we took a cab as soon as we went out.
“Where are you going?” uh.. we don't know what to say.
What’s the reason for us to go Han River when we don’t even know the way there..
Actually because we didn’t go with a good mind... at the moment I told my friend, if what you said were real..
If really, in case I wanted to jump down. Please stop me..


But my friend just got into the cab and told the cab driver to stop at the middle of the Han River Bridge..Like this..
Of course the cab driver felt strange. “Why do you want to go!” “Just go please..”
And so he asked which bridge we want to go. And we didn’t have the vaguest idea about that. Both of us were from the countryside/rural area..
Because we don't know anything so we just told him to go to the bridge which is nearest to us and drop us in the middle of the bridge.


The cab driver felt really strange but still went to the place. We just went like that.
But the cab driver suddenly remembered something. He said “hey, did you say.. you wanted to go to HanGang GoSuBuJi (Han River Terrance, so it means it’s the riverside, not the bridge that they may jump off from)?”
But we don’t live in Seoul, how would we know. “Ah! Yes Yes! There!!”
“Ah~ So that’s where you wanted to go~" he said and suddenly made a U-turn and drove towards the location.


After that when we reached the place, he told us this is HanGang GoSuBuJi.
However, we felt strange that we can’t see the river. And when we look around, there was a park.
I asked my friend “Friend, Did you actually know this place so you asked the driver to come here?"
He said he saw it in the television before. He remembered this place and thought it was Han River, but it was actually Han River Park.


Initially, we went with a wrong mindset.. Ultimately when we reach Han River, we don’t hold that thought anymore.
Although it was really difficult, I chatted a lot with my friend and straightened out a lot of stuffs , we decided to work harder once again..


More than anything, when we look around, there are kids there. Restaurants..that seems very expensive.
My friend and I promised that we must succeed in the future.. wearing really nice clothes.. when we really succeed, we will go and eat there.
That is the place where we made that promise and every time when we met with difficulties, I would go over there with my friend and look at Han River which we can really find peace in.


[Kang Ho Dong] Well, I think in any case, you should thank the cab driver. Why so is because that cab driver must had sensed something wrong. I think that maybe since you were not familiar with Seoul, didn’t drive you to that place.

[Heo Young Saeng] He doesn’t seem like he is running away in fear.

[Kang Ho Dong] Isn’t it good memories because you experience the road

[Heo Young Saeng] There's something I really must and want to say. I suffered a lot at that time, but thereafter I put in a lot of efforts to bring myself back. However I couldn’t accomplish anything. But there is this one thing that I will never forget before I became SS501, that is I never give up my dream.

Let’s do it once again. So there is a reason for me to come to Seoul! Let’s do well. Make a promise once again, do not lose the dream.

I didn’t have anything to do. I wasn’t a trainee, I don’t have anything, nothing, really..
Friends from my hometown asked “Why haven’t you debut yet”. Every time I got asked, I don't know what to say..
Every time that happens, I will always ask “When will I debut”. Without a reason…~!
